About Brownstein & Egusa
Brownstein & Egusa is a PR firm focused on tech startups. The company was founded in 2010 by Conrad Egusa, who is a former VentureBeat writer, when he realized that the PR industry’s business model was broken for startups.
As an industry, PR is expensive. A PR firm in the US can charge $10,000 a month, with a mandatory 6 month retainer (A $60,000 total cost, which is not a light burden on a startup). This isn’t feasible for the high majority of startups.
We are considered one of the best in the world at a very specific skill-set: Helping early-stage startups get featured on top tech publications. We can do this for 1-3% the cost of traditional PR firms.
B&E has grown to an organization with clients throughout the world. We’ve working with startups from top programs including Y Combinator, and have been featured on TechCrunch, The Financial Times, and more. Today, the vision is to help build and support the most exciting companies of tomorrow.
